Compassionate, Collaborative Psychiatry—From the Comfort of Home
At Shelburne Mind Body Medicine, we offer personalized online mental health care for children, adolescents, and adults across Vermont. Our team of licensed psychiatric nurse practitioners provides thoughtful, relationship-centered treatment designed to help you regain clarity, restore balance, and move forward with greater confidence.
Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood changes, or life transitions, we’re here to support your healing with respect, expertise, and care.
A Holistic Approach to Mental Health
We believe effective psychiatric care goes beyond prescriptions. Our approach is collaborative and whole-person, integrating supportive therapy, psychoeducation, and lifestyle strategies into every treatment plan.
We take time to understand your story and your goals—so your care feels not only clinically sound, but also meaningful and truly individualized.
Medication Management with Purpose
When medication is part of your treatment, we take a measured, thoughtful approach. Our goal is to improve your symptoms while minimizing side effects and supporting long-term well-being. We view medication as one of many tools—and always consider the least invasive options first, in line with your preferences and needs.
Please note: In keeping with our commitment to patient safety, we do not prescribe stimulant medications (such as those often used to treat ADHD). While we work with individuals experiencing attention difficulties, we focus on non-stimulant strategies that align with our holistic philosophy.

Our Services Include:
- Psychiatric Evaluations: Comprehensive, diagnostic assessments to better understand your symptoms, history, and treatment needs. We take time to listen and collaborate on a care plan that makes sense for you.
- Medication Management: Thoughtful, evidence-based prescribing with regular follow-up to monitor effectiveness, side effects, and overall well-being. We believe in medication as one tool—not the only one.
- Supportive Therapy & Psychoeducation: While we are not a traditional psychotherapy clinic, we offer brief, solution-focused therapy and psychoeducation to help you better understand your diagnosis, manage stress, and build resilience.
- Care for Children & Teens: We work closely with families to support children and adolescents through challenges like ADHD, anxiety, mood changes, and school stress—always with compassion and developmental insight.
- Treatment for Adults: We help adults manage a wide range of conditions, including depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and sleep issues, as well as navigate life transitions and burnout.
Emergency & Crisis Policy
We do not provide emergency psychiatric care via telehealth.
If you or your child is in crisis—experiencing suicidal thoughts, at risk of harm to self or others, or in immediate danger—please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
For safety reasons, we may refer clients to in-person care if we determine that telehealth alone is not sufficient after the initial assessment.
